Reproduce the advisory on a lab box, then write the note
An advisory without a reproduction is a rumour. You need a model that will walk the steps against the lab version you installed, not one that treats the CVE id as a request to attack the internet.
Patch teams, vuln management, and researchers validating advisories on lab images.
Why the mainstream APIs fail here
The model will summarise the NVD page and will not emit the request that hits the bug. You installed 1.2.3 in a VM to see whether 1.2.4 is required this week. The refusal does not help that decision.
How Redline is used for this
Give it the advisory, the version, the lab setup. Ask for the steps. Run them on the VM. Draft the internal note. Cap the key the vuln-mgmt automation uses.
A working loop
- Reproduce on lab images.
- Decide the patch priority from what actually fires.
- Do not point the steps at a host you do not own.
Prompts are not stored. A signed receipt of the hash comes back on every call, so you can prove later what Redline logged. Details are on the privacy page. Per-model prices are on /models and the pricing model is on /pricing.
